The harsh winter (and traveling over the holidays) seriously wreaked havoc on my skin. So a trip to Sephora was at the top of my to-do list in January. After reading tons of reviews, I grabbed a bottle of Youth to the People's Mandelic Acid to slough away the dry, dead skin cells that had amassed on my face, a jar of Tatcha's oh-so-moisturizing water cream to lock in moisture, and Supergoop's Glow Stick sunscreen to give my skin a much-needed winter glow.

I have fine hair that becomes super unmanageable when it grows past my shoulders. But with this gentle shampoo and conditioner set from Klorane, my hair is soft, tangle-free, and the longest it's been in a while. It's so good that I'm almost considering ditching my Olaplex. January is one of my least favorite months. The bone-chilling cold weather, the gloomy skies, the long nights…it just isn't my idea of fun. To banish the winter blues, I like to lean into good knitwear in mood-boosting colors. Mozh Mozh's gorgeous pink cardigan has been a game-changer in that respect. I also particularly like the Seabiotic Water Cream - it nourishes my dry winter skin without causing a breakout. My birthday falls in January, meaning I'm shopping more than usual—especially with the close of the holiday season (meaning I can focus on shopping for myself versus my loved ones!). My main purchase was one of Miscreant's Cupid dresses to wear to my birthday dinner, to celebrate the occasion wearing something that felt classy, a bit extra, and featured gloves (I've been seeing them everywhere lately!). Next, because of my intense love for tall boots this season, I treat myself to this beautiful snake-effect pair from By Far that are notably comfortable even while commuting through NYC. On the beauty front, this Sephora Collection multi-stick has sparked much joy. For only $14, I bought the Kaki shade for a rich, green metallic eye look that I desired and that I'm obsessed with. Totally buying other colors soon.
